Port Dover is located in the Province of Ontario on Lake Erie, east of the Long Point Provincial Park.

Port Dover is a Class “A” commercial fishing harbour facility, which is located at the mouth of the Lynn River and consists of two river entrance structures, a commercial harbour basin and marginal wharves. Port Dover is home to 8-10 Commercial fishing vessels and an additional 8 to 10 transient vessels.

The Port Dover Harbour Authority (HA) was founded in the fall of 1997. This corporation consists of 5 volunteer board of directors and one contract manager (part-time). The Port Dover HA is responsible for the daily operation of the harbour.
