Wheatley Harbour is located in the Province of Ontario at the western basin of Lake Erie near the base of Point Pelee.
Wheatley Harbour is the largest Freshwater Fishing port in North America and home to 45 Commercial fishing vessels.
The Wheatley Harbour Authority(HA) was founded in the fall of 1998. This corporation consists of 9 volunteer board of directors and one contract manager(partime).
The Wheatley HA is responsible for the daily operation of the harbour.
The harbour has a new launch ramp for pleasure craft, this facility is well protected from the open lake.
The daily fee is $12 in and out or a seasonal pass can be purchased for $140.
The HA also has a large parking lot for vehicles and boat trailers.
Recreational berthage is avaiable on first come basis,rates are as follows
Daily: $1/ft. + HST
Monthly: $10/ft + HST
Seasonal: $30/ft + HST

* Please Note: When approaching the harbour entrance use caution, sand building occurs, contact local fishers or a Commercial Fishing vessel via VHF channel 6 or 19 for more information.
